Magic City Classic has economic impact that stretches across state

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Rev Birmingham says this past Saturday approximately, 135,000 people stopped in downtown Birmingham. That doesn’t even include employees and folks who live there.

Overall, it was the 10th busiest day all year downtown. What makes this so impressive is that the Magic City Classic didn’t even happen in the downtown area, but it still had such a large impact.
