ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – High pressure will keep us sunny and dry through Sunday and Monday with highs staying in the middle 70s and lows in the 40s. A few areas of fog cannot be ruled out over the next few mornings.
Tuesday features the next chances for rain. A cold front will slide into the area driving in the best chances for rain over the next 7 days. This front will pull in moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Sara. This will also aid in the chance for flash flooding with the return of rainfall on Tuesday. There are no currents concerns for severe weather, but we will have to watch closely as the forecast evolves. Highs will remain near average in the 70s with warm lows.
The next front moves in quickly on Wednesday with no rainfall. This front will lower our temperatures into the 50s and 60s for highs and lows in the 30s and 40s through the end of the week. This will be some of the coolest air of the season so far…
