Fatal Albany wreck leads to road changes 1 year later

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – A year after a deadly crash took the life of a Dougherty County mother, the road she died on has finally gotten traffic signals. That’s because the man she crashed into started a petition to get the changes made in honor of the young mother.

In August 2023, at the intersection of County Line Road and Spring Flats Road, 23-year-old Gabrielle Grace lost her life in a fatal wreck. Now a year later, her family says her name is living on through the changes they say they fought to bring to this intersection.
