GBI releases charges of suspect arrested in relation to the deadly ASU homecoming shooting

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has arrested and charged Jeremy Marshall, 18, in connection to the deadly Albany State University homecoming shooting that took place on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Five people were shot during the incident, and one victim died.

Marshall is the first suspect arrested in connection to this shooting and is facing the following charges:

  • 3 counts of Aggravated Assault
  • 3 counts of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony

He is currently being held at the Dougherty County Jail…
