e.Coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s reported in states including Wisconsin, Iowa

On Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced it is investigating a “fast-moving outbreak” of e.Coli that has left 49 people sick across 10 states.

While no recall has been announced, the CDC says that most sick people have reported eating a Quarter Pounder from McDonald’s.

Among the 49 who have become ill, with onset dates ranging from Sept. 27 to Oct. 11, 10 have required hospitalization and one has died…
