The chief of Oregon State University’s Department of Public Safety is currently on administrative leave, but university officials are tight-lipped about why.
OSU spokesperson Rob Odom confirmed that Chief Shanon Anderson, associate vice president for public safety, is on leave as of Wednesday, Dec. 11, but he declined to comment on specifics, such as whether it is paid or unpaid leave.
Anderson did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
