Visit Albuquerque highlights upcoming January events

The new year has come around and to kick off 2025, Visit Albuquerque has a list of events happening around the city during January. Lara Brockway from Visit Albuquerque breaks down some events.

Family Story Time: Winter Stories

  • January 11, from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The event will feature a series of book readings about an Inuit puppy named Kamik, inspired by real life recollections. After the stories, there will be activities and crafts for families to participate in.

Brick Convention New Mexico

  • January 18 – 19, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Expo New Mexico. The event will feature a number of displays, and interactive hands-on activities. The Brick Convention will include professional Lego artists, vendors and all things Lego.

Bands of Enchantment Premiere

  • January 23, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at KiMo Theatre. Get an exclusive sneak peak of Season 4 of Bands of Enchantment. The Emmy-winning series features a mix of established and emerging artists.

New Mexico Ice Wolves

  • The Ice Wolves continue the 2024/2025 season and have a number of games for fans to attend at the Outpost Ice Arena.
