Last year we let you know that Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company (5000 Olney Laytonsville Rd in Olney) would be launching Fallen Oak Distilling. Scheduled to open this fall, Fallen Oak will deliver an “exquisite range of spirits, meticulously crafted for the discerning palate” that will also come with a “hidden cocktail experience.”
Named as a tribute to the brewery’s beloved Oak tree, construction has progressed on the Lone Oak grounds in Olney, with an anticipated opening coming later this fall. Fallen Oak Distilling will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a space that will reflect the passion and dedication synonymous with Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company. This new adventure will allow Lone Oak to continue its commitment to serving award-winning products with a “hidden cocktail experience” that customers will be able to access through an entrance hidden by a bookcase.
The experience, which will be very similar to a speakeasy, will include custom leather furniture that’s currently being built for the space, a large bar, fireplace, a tasting room, elevated dining experience, a stage area where Jazz musicians will perform, and a lot more…
