Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr. to Fulfill Promise for Bronny James’ Lakers Debut

LeBron James and his son, Bronny, won’t be the only famous father-son duo at the season-opening game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Ken Griffey Jr., half of baseball’s last active father-son duo, said last summer that he wanted to attend the Lakers-Timberwolves tipoff with his namesake father.

According to a report Sunday, Griffey intends to follow through on his words. Former Washington Nationals and Cincinnati Reds general manager Jim Bowden, now with MLB Network on SiriusXM, relays that the Griffeys will be at the game Tuesday in Los Angeles…
