A Bethlehem teen accused of shooting and killing a 30-year-old man in a drug deal gone bad now is headed for trial in the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas.

Gianni Santini, 17, of the 1770 block of Callone Avenue, is facing felony criminal homicide; felony aggravated assault and two counts felony robbery charges, as well as firearms and weapons offenses, authorities said. Santini on Sept. 27 — a day after the incident — surrendered to police and is being charged as an adult in the case.

All charges against Santini were bound Nov. 13 for county court after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Santini will face trial unless a plea is entered or the case is disposed of in another way.
