AROUND ALASKA: Serum Run Centennial, Equity Center Tour, and World Snow Day

Preparations are underway for a big event later this week in Nenana that’s been 100 years in the making. It was a century ago when the historic “1925 Serum Run to Nome” took place. A group of mushers and their dogs raced from Nenana to deliver a diphtheria antitoxin saving many lives. Nenana will celebrate the centennial of the Serum Run this Friday and Saturday with tons of cool events.
