Planned service cuts at Exeter Hospital put on hold

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Exeter Hospital has agreed to put all the cuts to services it had announced on hold for as long as six months.

Attorney General John Formella said Wednesday that the hospital will take that time to come up with a transition plan to make sure there is no lapse in patient care.

Services including neurology, podiatry, and an advanced life support paramedic program were set to end, causing some patients to be redirected to providers as far away as Boston…
