Boston, MA Shawmut Design and Construction, a leading $2 billion national construction management firm, completed the topping off of 100 South Campus Drive, a mixed-use project that will create sustainable housing for the Harvard University community alongside public spaces. The project is part of a larger transformation of 175 North Harvard St., which includes the new home for the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.).
The 100 South Campus Dr. project team includes design firm Marvel Architects, with Northstar Project & Real Estate Services serving as owner’s project manager. Upon completion, the building will feature 276 residential units to provide needed housing for the Harvard community, along with public-facing amenities. Designed with sustainability at the forefront, the building is set to achieve both Passive House and Living Building Challenge certifications.
