WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – A 22-year-old fatally shot in the first Washtenaw County homicide this year had threatened the man who allegedly shot him just minutes before the incident, according to testimony in court.

Deonte Mcdaniel testified to hearing Alonzo Hollie tell Daniel Franklin, 18, that he was going to shoot him if he didn’t return the 22-year-old’s Breeze, a brand of electronic cigarette.

“He said, ‘Give me my Breeze or I’m going to shoot you,” Mcdaniel testified during Franklin’s Oct. 28 preliminary examination…
