Dearborn received $6 million state LEO grant

DEARBORN – The city received a state of Michigan $6 million Labor and Economic Opportunity Grant, which will be used to enhance public safety and community resources with no required matching funds.

The grant, which took effect Jan. 1, continues through Sept. 30, 2029, and will be allocated by Finance Director Michael Kennedy to the city’s general fund, as well as the facilities, fleet and library funds.
