Montgomery and Prince George’s Co. residents urged to limit water usage amid frigid temps

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Residents in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties are being asked to use water sparingly after a surge in water main breaks caused by freezing temperatures.

WSSC Water issued the urgent request Sunday afternoon emphasizing that water is still safe to drink but must be conserved to avoid a potential boil water advisory for 1.9 million people in the region.
