Twins Make History as Jacksonville State University’s 2024 Homecoming King and Queen

Jacksonville, AL – In a groundbreaking moment for Jacksonville State University (JSU), twins Gemir Scott and Gemira Scott were crowned the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen on Thursday night, marking the first time in the university’s history that siblings—and twins—have simultaneously held these prestigious titles.

The Scotts, both seniors, have left a lasting impact on the JSU community through their leadership and involvement across campus organizations.

Gemir Scott, a kinesiology major, holds several leadership roles, including Basileus of the Theta Eta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and Vice President of Public Relations for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC).
