A resident receiving care at a Brooklyn Center assisted living facility was assaulted by three unknown men, according to a Minnesota Department of Health investigation that determined that facility was at fault for failing to stop the attack.

The incident occurred at Butterfly Bound Care at 3501 62nd Avenue North. An investigation was launched in October 2024 and was concluded at the end of December.
