Abandoned home damaged in North Nashville fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Crews are investigating what led to a vacant home catching on fire Friday morning just northwest of downtown Nashville.

Personnel with the Nashville Fire Department were sent to the 700 block of 28th Avenue North at approximately 4:45 a.m. to respond to reports of a residential fire.

Flames and smoke were reportedly seen coming from the home. At scene, officials said the home was abandoned and there were no injuries reported.
