While growing up in Dayton, Ohio, Luke Grimes eventually traveled to New York City to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Throughout the years, the actor and singer appeared in films like American Sniper and the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise. But for most, they know him from the hit series Yellowstone. Portraying Kayce Dutton, the actor watched his stardom explode as each new episode released. But outside of his time on set, Grimes explored a career in music. And in 2024, he released his self-titled debut album. Expanding her career to include music, the singer recently performed “All Apologies” by Nirvana.
Traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, Grimes took the stage at the historic Ryman Auditorium for a special performance. With fans filling the venue, the actor decided to pay tribute to Nirvana during a portion of his set. Written by vocalist Kurt Cobain, the song appeared on the final album In Utero in 1993. Sadly, Cobain took his own life just a year later in April 1994.
