KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — A Kinston man and a Raleigh woman were arrested and charged after a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 70 near La Grange Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025.
Victoria Pickett, 39, was stopped for a window tint violation. During the stop, Pickett told officers she didn’t have a valid driver’s license, the vehicle’s registration was not up to date and the insurance was invalid.
The passenger in the car, Thaddeux Jackson, 44, gave his license to the officers. A search of the vehicle found marijuana, a concealed gun and drug paraphernalia…
