NC Museum Of History Shop closing Sunday as part of $180 million upgrade for Raleigh museum

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina Museum Of History Shop in Raleigh will close its doors Sunday until further notice.

The museum gift shop is the final part of the building on East Edenton Street to shut down as part of the museum’s multi-year, multi-million-dollar renovation project.

The General Assembly has earmarked $180 million for the project, which is projected to take up to three years to complete…
