Lake Mary Little League is playing for the 2024 Little League World Series championship Sunday.
The boys from Lake Mary, Florida won the U.S. bracket on Saturday and will face Taoyuan City, Chinese Taipei for the LLWS championship. If they win, Lake Mary will be the first Florida team to take home the title.
The Florida Little League team, representing the Southeast region, got here by beating Boerne, Texas 10-7 on Saturday, avenging their loss to the Southwest representatives earlier in the tournament. Lake Mary is 6-1 in Williamsport after winning their first two games, and they are now on a four-game winning streak.
