OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – After closing in February, a beloved Oshkosh pizza joint is back in business and opened to the public, with festivities planned for Saturday to continue the celebratory return.
ZaRoni’s Pizza closed down because its former owner and current Winnebago County executive Jon Doemel wanted to focus on his career in public service. But employees at the pizza shop raised money to try and reopen the restaurant.
With the efforts to raise money and help from an investor, ZaRoni’s finally cut the ribbon and reopened on Friday, with old crew members coming back to help out…
