All Signs Seem to be Pointing at One Name for Bears’ Next Head Coach

The Chicago Bears head coaching search will likely be discussed and dissected every which way until the season’s end. Though many candidates have been discussed for the vacancy, a few names remain a constant. On Monday, Dan McNeil revealed the short list of candidates the Bears have on their list. On Wednesday, NFL’s Ian Rappaport doubled down on the list and highlighted one individual in particular.

Top Candidates for Bears’ Head Coach

While Detroit Lions Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson is often mentioned as a strong pairing for quarterback Caleb Williams, most media believe that the Bears should focus on more of a ‘culture creator’ type of head coach. After all, this team is more than just ‘fixing the offense’ away from being relevant. They need a coach to change the direction of the franchise.
