The Chicago Bears head coaching search will likely be discussed and dissected every which way until the season’s end. Though many candidates have been discussed for the vacancy, a few names remain a constant. On Monday, Dan McNeil revealed the short list of candidates the Bears have on their list. On Wednesday, NFL’s Ian Rappaport doubled down on the list and highlighted one individual in particular.

While Detroit Lions Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson is often mentioned as a strong pairing for quarterback Caleb Williams, most media believe that the Bears should focus on more of a ‘culture creator’ type of head coach.
