Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels faced a three-point deficit from near midfield with two seconds remaining, weaving through a toothless Chicago pass rush for nearly 13 seconds before launching a 65-yard bomb toward a gaggle of Bears defenders waiting at the goalline — according to Next Gen Stats, the miraculous connection was the NFL’s first since 2016 with a time to throw of greater than 10 seconds.
