North Texas police capture fugitive wanted on multiple charges

WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — A fugitive wanted on several charges out of Bowie County, Texas, was apprehended by White Settlement police after a foot chase on Allencrest. The suspect, who attempted to evade capture, is now facing additional charges.

Sgt. Blaustein spotted the suspect in the 100 block of Allencrest, prompting the individual to flee on foot. Multiple officers, detectives, and executive command staff responded to the scene, setting up a perimeter and deploying an aerial drone to aid in the search, according to the White Settlement Police Department. The suspect was seen running through backyards near Pemberton and was eventually captured on Delmar Street.

The suspect’s warrants from Bowie County included charges of Tampering and Fabricating Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transportation.
