It was a good run, but Freeburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Nashville Hornets by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Midgets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Freeburg actually scored more points across those three sets (63-62), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 18-16.
Freeburg’s loss shouldn’t obscure the performances of Olivia Isaacs, who had 26 digs, and Addie Hesseldenz, who had four digs and 26 assists…
