HUNTINGTON — When Scott Damron began his career at City Hall in 1985, it was a chance to get his foot in the door in Huntington. A combined 14 years later, his time with the city became more than just a stepping stone for his career.
“In ‘85 the economy wasn’t the greatest,” Damron said. “Interest rates were extremely high. There was not a lot of hiring going on in the private sector. I looked at the assistant city attorney job to get my foot in the door in Huntington. It worked out that way.”
