First Alert Weather Day – Severe weather possible later this evening into Sunday morning

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Today and tomorrow are First Alert Weather Days across the region.

As we go through the morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible, but the risk for severe weather does not start till this evening.

Through the day today damaging, gusty winds are possible even if you are not receiving rainfall. That will last all day today, and even through the day tomorrow. The severe storm risk isn’t expected to start until later this evening. So, if you are headed to the Portsmouth St. Patrick’s Day Parade or the WSAZ Home and Garden Show, have your rain gear just in case…
