Infant’s remains discovered at West Virginia cemetery, authorities seek information

CABELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Cabell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after deputies discovered an infant’s remains and a damaged casket at Baylous Cemetery on Thursday night.

According to Sheriff Doug Adams, deputies were dispatched to the cemetery around 7:20 p.m. after receiving a report of a corpse and a broken casket.

Upon arrival, authorities found a casket over an embankment and, approximately 30 yards away, the remains of an infant male.

During the initial investigation, deputies did not find any disturbed gravesites in the cemetery…
