CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A new list ranked the best states in which to raise a family and none of Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky were among the top 20 and two of those were in the bottom half.
The personal finance website WalletHub, which releases its list of best and worst states for families each year, unveiled its rankings for 2025. It used criteria such as median family income, home affordability, entertainment options, unemployment rates, education, safety and health care.
Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana all fall a little lower on the list. The Buckeye State was No. 24 (score of 53.44), the Bluegrass State was No. 32 (49.60) and the Hoosier State was No. 35 (48.24)…
