Bust a move! Perry Village SRO shows off breakdancing skills at PHS homecoming

PERRY VILLAGE, Ohio (WJW) — School resource officers have become a staple in many schools. They help keep students and staff safe, but as one SRO proved this weekend at Perry High School , they can also have a lot of fun.

A video posted on the Perry Village Police Department’s Facebook page shows SRO Malcolm “Spark” Battiato breaking it down on the dance floor during the high school’s homecoming event. In full uniform, he busts a move in the middle of a crowd of students cheering him on.

Battiato is no stranger to performing in front of a crowd. According to the post, he was a former member of the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team.
