Oct. 9—JEFFERSON — A man with a gun showed up at the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department and told deputies he had shot up a house in Geneva on Tuesday afternoon, said Ashtabula County Sheriff William Niemi.
“He actually parked in my parking spot,” Niemi said. He said the man brandished a gun and was talking “crazy,” and was arrested at gun point by deputies.”He shot up his house in Geneva and drove here,” Niemi said. Niemi said he did not know why the man came to Jefferson.
Niemi said he was grateful nobody was hurt. “I am glad he came to the office,” he said…
