WILMINGTON, Ohio (WANE) — A judge sentenced an Ohio man who played a role in poaching an 18-point white-tailed deer in 2023 to 90 days in prison, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
Described as the “ringleader” in a “high-profile” case of deer poaching, 28-year-old Christopher “CJ” Alexander of Wilmington, Ohio, will also have to pay $43,000 in penalties, restitution and court costs for his actions.
