Oct. 8—ASHTABULA — Jeff’s Sober Living is having trouble getting new residents into their home at 5024 West Ave.
Founder and owner Jeff McDonough, who started the business seven years ago, is from Mentor, and has family in Ashtabula.
“I always heard about Ashtabula’s issue with drugs,” he said. “It seemed like Ashtabula had a need. I go out there … I buy this beautiful bed and breakfast with a partner. We put all new furnishings in it. It’s beautiful and has about 14 beds.”…
