What do the county’s covered bridges mean for Jefferson?

Oct. 9—JEFFERSON — The village hosting Ashtabula County’s seat has long been at the center of the Covered Bridge Festival.

Patti Fisher, clerk/treasurer for the village, said the festival brings a lot of people into the community.

“A lot of small businesses in town love it because people are coming from all over the state of Ohio, and even out of the state, to see the covered bridges,” she said…
