NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD took state Assemblyman Eddie Gibbs into custody Thursday after stopping his car in Manhattan, sources told 1010 WINS.
Gibbs—a Democrat who represents Central Harlem, East Harlem, Randall’s Island and parts of the Upper East Side in district 68—was pulled over in upper Manhattan by the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group.
It was not immediately clear why the assemblyman was taken into custody, but he was at the 25th Precinct stationhouse on Thursday afternoon…
