The University of Georgia, Clarke County School District and other local local colleges and K-12 schools have canceled classes for Friday due to the possibility of snow, sleet or freezing rain on Friday.
All in-person classes, events and activities at UGA are canceled. Dining halls will remain open, but will open one hour late. Campus Transit will stop running at 3 a.m. and will resume when the weather makes travel safe.
Friday will be an asynchronous remote learning day for CCSD students. All extracurricular activities are canceled. Based on the current forecast, all schools and district offices are expected to reopen on Monday…
