Metro Atlanta first responders honored for saving man’s life during cardiac arrest

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A metro Atlanta man is alive today after first responders jumped in to save his life during a dire time.

On Saturday morning, a special ceremony was held at American Medical Response’s (AMR) Brookhaven EMS hub to honor the first responders for their heroic actions.

First responders from American Medical Response played a part in saving 38-year-old Reilly Campbell’s life after he suffered a cardiac arrest in his car in August. Crews with DeKalb County Fire Rescue and Brookhaven police were also a part of the effort…
