17 dogs found living in squalor at Middleboro home

MIDDLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — A Middleboro home was condemned Friday after animal control officers found more than a dozen dogs living in deplorable conditions, according to police.

Middleboro Animal Control officers responded to the Precinct Street home to execute a search warrant as part of an animal welfare investigation.

Police said the officers discovered 17 dogs living in filth with inadequate access to food and water. The dogs are all in need of medical care, however, police said one required immediate attention and was removed from the home…
