PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — At Robert L Bailey IV Elementary School in Providence, child’s play is not only important, but encouraged.
“This year we’re doing our fourth annual active indoor recess week to provide teachers with simple strategies and games that they can bring in to the classroom,’ said Jessi Jasper, Regional Partnership Manager at Playworks New England, an organization that trains teachers and staff at schools how to play games that encourage safe, healthy and meaningful play at school.
