Roger Williams Park Zoo sloth moves to Connecticut aquarium

NORWALK, Conn. (WPRI) — The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is now home to a Linne’s two-toed sloth who has ties to the Ocean State.

Jeffrey, who was born at Roger Williams Park Zoo last year , moved to Connecticut earlier this year. He is the first sloth to ever live at the Norwalk aquarium.

Dylan Salamone, a senior mammal trainer at the aquarium, said Jeffrey has his own mobile perch, which allows him to explore his environment while also giving guests a chance to interact with him…
