Following a slow start against New Mexico in Week 3, Auburn football pulled away late for a big nonconference win to bounce back from a Week 2 loss to Cal.
The Tigers (2-1) will open SEC play against Arkansas on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. Auburn outscored the Lobos 28-6 in the second half to walk away with a 45-19 victory. Making his first career start, redshirt freshman quarterback Hank Brown finished 17-of-25 passing for 235 yards and four touchdowns while running back Jarquez Hunter added 20 rushes for 152 yards and a score.
