DENVER (KDVR) — Xcel Energy reported that over 1,000 customers were without power in the Lafayette area Sunday night.
The Lafayette Police Department confirmed the outage, reporting that traffic lights on Highway 287 were impacted from Highway 42 to Dillon Road. The outage, when first reported, was expected to last until 8 p.m. As of 6:45 p.m., the outage appeared to have been resolved.

“Please avoid this area if possible,” the police agency wrote on social media . “Xcel is aware and working on the issue.”
