A fire at a home in Yorkville on Thursday morning was contained to a dryer. It happened in the 800 block of E. Spring Street. No one was hurt.
The Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District was called around 8:43 a.m. for a report of smoke coming from a home’s garage. Firefighters found a burning clothes dryer in the adjacent laundry room and quickly extinguished the fire. No one was inside the home at the time.
