Phoenix Predator Charged: Arizona Man Snatches 12-Year-Old Girl in Utah Kidnapping Spree

An Arizona man has been detained and charged in southern Utah with the kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl, according to court documents. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Liam G. Wallace of Phoenix, is facing a first-degree felony charge for child kidnapping as well as a second-degree felony for obstructing justice.

As reported by KSL, the arrest occurred after deputies located a semi-truck with “White Owl” inscribed on its side, parked on Highway 89. A deputy knocked on the door and was greeted by Wallace, who emerged from the sleeper area and initially falsely claimed he was alone. When pressed, Wallace confessed the presence of someone else in the truck but misrepresented their age as 19 years old.

The young girl was subsequently found and transported to the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, and later picked up by her parents. KUTV reports that following the girl being picked up, a Children’s Justice Center interview was conducted. The parents then took her to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Details regarding her condition have not been publicly disclosed…
