GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – “It’s just unimaginable,” Jacksonville native and Red Cross volunteer Charlotte Rodriguez said on the aftermath of wildfires in California.
Rodriguez who was deployed to Los Angeles on Monday joins over 400 Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers nationwide, with nearly a dozen from North Carolina.
“Oh, it’s truly unbelievable, it’s not just a house that’s gone, it’s the whole community, and when I say the whole community, it’s the people’s homes,” she said. “It’s their memories, it’s families that are displaced, children where do you go to school now? Uh it’s just unimaginable.”…
