Los Angeles wildfires: Jim Harbaugh shakes hands, personally thanks first responders

The LA wildfires have been some of the most devastating in the history of the United States. They’ve destroyed thousands of structures in a matter of weeks and hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced from their homes. Firefighters and first responders have been battling around the clock on the front lines, trying to contain the fires from becoming even more destructive. To show his appreciation and thanks, LA Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh decided to spend some time with the first responders and firefighters and thank them on Thursday evening.

The LA wildfires have been some of the worst in the history of the United States, completely destroying thousands of homes and structures in the process. They are already among the most destructive in California’s history , torching more than 12,000 structures in a matter of days. 24 people have died and over 130,000 people in the Los Angeles area have been displaced.

Fueled by incredibly dry conditions, the flames have scorched an area that is larger than the city of San Francisco, leaving unimaginable devastation in its wake.
