Trial date set for Bakersfield Christmas Parade crash driver

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A trial date was set Thursday for the alleged drunken driver whose pickup hit multiple people at the Bakersfield Christmas Parade.

Alan Lewis Booth, 73, is scheduled for trial on Feb. 24. He has pleaded not guilty to four counts of assault with a deadly weapon other than a gun, two drunken driving-related counts and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
